 Ms. Lisa Schlitzkus is the founder of Schlitzkus Law and a seasoned trial attorney who has dedicated her career to representing clients with integrity, passion, and an exceptional work ethic.

Lisa is known for taking on challenging and complex cases and approaching each matter with strategy, determination, and unwavering commitment. She believes that exceptional advocacy begins with truly understanding her clients, their goals, and what matters most to them.

Because Lisa believes every client deserves meaningful attention and thoughtful representation, she intentionally limits the number of cases she accepts. This allows her and her team to provide a higher level of service, communication, preparation, and responsiveness throughout every stage of litigation.

Lisa believes clients should never feel lost in the legal process. She works to ensure clients remain informed, involved, and prepared so they can move through litigation with clarity and confidence.

Schlitzkus Law focuses its practice in family law and personal injury matters, delivering personalized legal representation designed around each client’s unique objectives and circumstances.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Throughout her career, she has remained deeply involved in the legal community and professional development. She previously served as President of the Third Circuit Bar Association and Secretary of the Third Circuit Association for Women Lawyers.

Lisa trained with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and has served as a Supreme Court Certified Mediator in both Family Law and Civil Trial matters. Since 2015, she has also served as a Traffic Court Hearing Officer for Columbia County.

Committed to continual growth and excellence, Lisa regularly attends advanced review courses in Family Law and Civil Trial practice areas.

She is admitted to practice throughout Florida and in federal courts including the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida and regularly appears throughout North Florida’s trial and appellate courts.

Lisa is also an active member of professional legal organizations and has received recognition from organizations including Super Lawyers®, Lawyers of Distinction®, and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for client satisfaction and professional excellence
